Keyed Alike
One key, however many locks you need
Twelve gates, thirty site boxes, a yard full of containers — and one key that opens all of them.
Order any quantity you like. Not a fixed pack of 10 or 20, but the number you actually need. If your site needs 17 locks, order 17. The per-lock price drops automatically as the quantity rises, from $14.45 per lock in volume.
How factory keyed alike works
The manufacturer produces padlocks in keyed alike batches. You buy a group of locks from one batch, and a single key opens every one. It's the cheapest way to get one key across a site, available immediately, with no system to set up.
Two things worth knowing
- Because the locks come pre-keyed from the factory, a keyed alike group must be the same size and shackle length — you can't put a 30mm and a 50mm extended shackle on one factory key.
- Because these batches are produced in volume, other buyers hold keys to the same code. For a site compound, a gate or a tool store that's a sensible trade for the price.

Adding more locks later
Sites grow. We keep your keying details on record, so additional padlocks can be supplied on your existing key months or years later. Same key, more locks, no new keyring.
If a series or batch has been discontinued by the manufacturer, we'll tell you upfront and offer the closest match rather than shipping something that doesn't work with what you have.
